As a child, I remember my father driving a truck and later running a terminal and my mother dispatching and helping in the office. I’ve been around trucks and drivers my entire life. My parents began C & A Transportation in 1989 with 2 trucks. I’ve never known of anyone to be so determined and driven and to have so much compassion and understanding every step of the way. This great company has grown and continued to be successful due to the understanding of what’s important, family and customers. I understand our drivers and office personal have a choice of where to work and our customers can pick from thousands of carriers to haul their freight. I have a great deal of respect for everyone working with us and I understand it’s a privilege to haul for our customers. My wonderful parents taught me early in life to work hard, dream big and never give up. After working for my parents for 12 years, I returned to college and finished my nursing degree. I’m the proud mom of 2 outstanding sons and 1 incredible daughter. To date, I’m blessed to have 2 beautiful granddaughters. I returned to C&A several years ago and was honored to become the CEO in 2014. My parents have now retired and are enjoying more time together. I now have the pleasure of sitting at the desk in the office where my father sat for so many years. I walk in my office everyday grateful for the opportunity to work with so many wonderful people and customers. I love this company and I’m confident we will continue to grow and be successful. My name is William Wood and I’m the truck and trailer mechanic here at C&A. I’ve been with C&A for almost 2 years. I was born and raised in Warner Robins, Georgia and graduated from Northside High School in 2015. After high school I decided to attend trade school in Dublin, GA for diesel technology. I also attended Central GA Technical College and obtained my class A CDL. I enjoy getting to work with awesome co-workers and being treated like family. I can’t wait to see where we go as a company in the future, and I’m glad to be a part of it. Hi, I’m Wayne Gunn and I have been with C&A for 19 years and I love working here. I am a Trailer Mechanic and Repair Specialist. I have been with the lovely Mary Taylor for 31 years and have 4 children, 2 boys and 2 girls. I also have 6 grandchildren and one on the way. Both my sons and 1 of my daughters are married and 1 daughter is still looking for the right one. I hope to continue working at C&A until I retire. My name is Chelsea Wilson. I am the mother of 3 beautiful children Cameron, Rosie and Addie. I was born into the USAF and in 2002 planted roots in middle Georgia. I have been blessed to call C&A my home away from home for 6 years, with experience in both the accounting and dispatch departments. I have achieved a duel AS degree in Psychology and Sociology, a BS in Psychology at Mercer University in 2019 and am currently working on my M.S in Rehabilitation Counseling. Hi! I’m Kim Romine and I’m the Controller for C&A Transportation. I’m new to the transportation industry but have worked in some compacity of finance for 34 years. It has felt like home from the first day here at C&A. Everyone is so friendly and make coming to work a joy. I have been married to and supported by my husband Bryan, for 32 years. We have 2 wonderful children, a daughter and son, who are both married and we have 1 grandson. I am originally from North Alabama but have lived here in middle Georgia for 23 years now. I look forward to the new and exciting things happening here at C&A. WAR EAGLE!!! I am a life long resident of the Macon, Middle Georgia area. Married to my wife Stacie for over 25 years with 2 daughters, Dani and Shelbie. I love the outdoors which includes everything from coaching travel softball, fishing, hunting, in a pool or on a beach. I love all sports anytime as long as it features FSU – Go Noles!!! I joined the C&A family in 2016 and most recently moved into Safety & Compliance in January 2018. I have been in transportation since 1992 and continue to enjoy the industry each and every day. C&A has allowed me the opportunity to learn and progress my career while helping grow the business. Hi, I’m Austin Callaway, the shop manager at C&A Transportation. I have been a part of C&A since November, 2016. My grandparents started the company in 1989 and my mother took over in 2016, one day I hope to fill her shoes. Family is extremely important to me. Taylor, my wife, and I have 2 beautiful girls, Ava & Charlotte. I am looking forward to seeing what the future holds and how successful we can be.
